JCI (Junior Chamber International), the worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs, is glad to invite you and the members/students of Edhec Business School to TAKE PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS of our organization!

• Do you excel in your field of activity and exemplify the best attributes of the world's young people?

• Do you need some fund to turn an idea into a concrete business plan?

• Are you a creative young entrepreneur who has started a new business using creativity?

• Or do you know someone who meets above requirements?

If your answer is yes, our competitions are for you:

• The Outstanding Young Persons of the World Award (TOYP) serves to formally recognize young people who excel in their chosen fields and exemplify the best attributes of the world's young people. By recognizing these young people, JCI encourages them and others to seek excellence and serve others. Thus, JCI contributes to prepare better leaders, who will create better societies.

Registration deadline is May 20, 2008.

• JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (CYEA): This award recognizes, honors and celebrates exceptional young entrepreneurs and the role of creativity in their success.

Registration deadline is May 31, 2008

• JCI Best Business Plan Competition (BBP) is designed to foster the entrepreneurial spirit. To facilitate this JCI provides young entrepreneurs with the tools and opportunity to turn an idea into a concrete business plan with $5000 start up capital. 

Registration deadline is: July 1, 2008

Finalists will receive: 

• Economy airline ticket to attend the 2008 JCI World Congress in New Delhi, India 

• Hotel accommodation at the Headquarters Hotel  

• Free JCI World Congress registration

And the winner of the JCI Best Business Competition will receive $5000 start up fund.

THE COMPETITIONS ARE OPEN TO:  young entrepreneurs between 18 and 40 (nominees born before January 1, 1968, are not eligible for the competitions). JCI is requesting entries from its National Organizations, as well as from individuals and other organizations such as universities, ICC National Organizations, Local Chambers of Commerce, Young Entrepreneurs of Europe and AIESEC.
